Exciting news!

Well, it’s official! After months of prep-work on the part of our diligent staff (shout outs go to our ebook coordinator Rebecca Ross, Scholarly Communication Librarian Patrick Labelle, and our director Michael O’Hearn) the University of Ottawa Press is proud to announce the launch of our new Open Access Collection!

As of today, 36 of our books have been digitized and placed in a repository which allows anyone to freely download PDF versions of the titles. The collection includes both English and French books in the subject areas of the arts, humanities and social sciences.

We would like to thank the University Library, as well as the authors who have chosen to participate in this groundbreaking initiative – without their support, this initiative would not be possible.

We’d also like to encourage everyone interested in FREE BOOKS (!!) to check out the collection, which is available on the University of Ottawa Library’s repository at the following link: http://www.ruor.uottawa.ca/en/handle/10393/12941
